Svolvaer to Henningsvaer
First day on our bikes! We loved it! The weather was lovely, the route not too hard and the scenery was stunning!
Sharp mountains plunging into a dead calm sea, rolling boulders emerging from the depth of that same sea, seagulls chirping along, colourful homes with manicured gardens and finally breathtaking reflections to greet us on arrival. If only one could be a poet!
Dinner was also amazing with some Norwegian specialities, such as cod tongue and whale meat. Of course, I tried it all whilst Anne stuck to the more conservative options (scallops and cod)! Guess who made the better choice!
